I have known Rakesh Wadhwa for over ten years. We began as a regular client & vendor but over the years have become very good friends. We met when he had come along with his colleague Mr Jay, to pitch for the CRISIL account. Rakesh has always been one of the most dependable, reliable and trustworthy people I have known professionally.

An outstanding people’s person, I have seen him handle the most knotty situations, difficult people, with admirable tact, diplomacy & calm. From ripping off an entire stage backdrop just two hours before an event because it had not turned out as I had desired and yet setting it up again well in time for the event, to getting two extra projectors at the last moment from a supplier in Chennai by communicating in sign language as the vendor did not understand a word of Hindi, Rakesh has always got the work done come what may.

I remember once an outdoor venue on a beach had to be shifted at the last minute due to change in weather. In a matter of four hours, without as much as a crease on his brow, Rakesh recreated the entire set-up in a considerably small banquet hall and it looked as if the event was anyway supposed to take place indoors.

He has the knack of perfectly understanding his clients and comprehending beforehand, exactly what the client is thinking or desires and then, delivering it perfectly. Even while organising the highest-pressure events, I have never seen Rakesh loose his cool or transfer his pressure onto his staff or reprimand his workers rudely. Whether it has been a dance programme, a play, a corporate function or an awards event, Rakesh has always done a flawless job. I cannot imagine doing any event without Rakesh and his Event Dynamics team. I wish Rakesh all the very best, always.
